This Tlingit Mask is made from alder wood I got when I was in Gustavus/Glacier Bay Alaska this 2024 tourist season. The spalting look adds a unique element that catches the eye. I carved the space in the mouth to allow the inlaying of operculum shells to resemble teeth. These two features make the overall look appealing to the eye which will add to the decor of your space of choice.
